Reject mythology. See the magic

Per evolution, developing human minds are hot-wired to believe without question, and to find comfort in family traditions. Unfortunately, those traditions are often steeped in false notions, mythology and superstitions-some more harmful than others. Fairy tale lies sold as truth to kids are pretty bad, but do far less harm than truly primitive dark age holdovers like female subjugation, eternal damnation, and genital mutilation.

Imagine! Africans with good intentions carving off girl parts while well-educated Westerners butcher their already perfect baby boys for the sake of tradition or maybe to 'look like dad' or this one; it's an ancient surgery from primitive times that corrects a design flaw in the million-year evolutionary development of the human penis. Seriously?

As for the better hygiene argument-HA! We trust girls to take good care of themselves, but boys require a surgical intervention because they can't be trusted to clean under the hood?

As with nearly all false notions and primitive behaviors plaguing us on the road to building a better world, circumcision will quietly fall out of practice (in as little as a single generation) by way of informed, as in enlightened, parents raising curious, thoughtful, independent-minded children who celebrate the truly ‘magical’ human qualities behind the sleigh, the egg and fees for teeth; love, hope, fellowship, cooperation, generosity, tolerance, renewal and getting better with age.

This century parents will trim lies, edicts and limiting traditions from their budding branch on the family tree-the fruit of which is the brilliant truth about how beautiful and magical life can be when humans embrace two spiritual realities:

All is Love and We are One.

Look. Learn. Love. Evolve.

Drunks are SO last century

Back in 2009, research by Amanda Reiman at the School of Social Welfare, UC Berkeley found that medical cannabis patients have been engaging in substitution by using cannabis as an alternative to alcohol, prescription and illicit drugs.[1]

Anti-pot warriors like The Heritage Foundation masterfully deflect the good news that drunk driving fatalities go down in legal states by focusing on the fact that a higher percentage of those road kills test positive for weed. The implied causality of cannabis is nonsense. More people are using weed because it's legal, but it's still the drunks that are doing the killing.

Let’s be honest; consuming alcoholic beverages is a fun way to celebrate, but let’s also cut the shit.  Alcohol kills; cannabis doesn’t. Cannabis isn’t physically addictive; alcohol is notoriously so. Cannabis-infused gatherings are famously chill and thoughtful. Last century booze bashes are aggressive laugh riots of over-consumption characterized by bad behavior and hangovers.

Happily this century Americans will put a stop to primitive drunken gatherings by raising kids who won't see the fun in getting shitfaced, being loud and acting crazy.

Hungover?  Bah!
That's what you get for partying like it’s 1999.

Look. Learn. Choose Wisely. Evolve.

NEW PARENTS! END CIRCUMCISION NOW!

Circumcision is an ancient genital mutilation ritual no less barbaric than the African practice of carving off female pleasure centers. The ritual goes back thousands of years, a fact that is sometimes laughably used to argue for the practice, as if an ancient civilization managed to discover and fix with surgery an actual flaw in the million-year evolutionary development of our species.

The Truth Hurts

Ancient Christians swiped the bloody practice from even more ancient Jews who had adopted the idea as a blood sacrifice compromise that spared the lives of valuable first born boys. In a move that will go down in history as nothing less than diabolical, perversely repressed and judgmental Christian leaders co-opted the ritual as a means of demonizing and curtailing that which boys (and girls) are by nature prone to do. Less than two centuries ago church leaders put their long-running evil intentions in writing:

In cases of masturbation we must, I believe, break the habit by inducing such a condition of the parts as will cause too much local suffering to allow of the practice being continued. For this purpose, if the prepuce [foreskin] is long, we may circumcise the male patient with present and probably with future advantage; the operation, too, should not be performed under chloroform, so that the pain experienced may be associated with the habit we wish to eradicate.

Source: On An Injurious Habit Occasionally Met with in Infancy and Early Childhood. The Lancet, Vol. 1; 7 April 1860

Evolution, Baby!

The human body is a marvel of evolution, so it makes sense that sex and self-pleasuring should be equally pleasurable for both sexes. The woman's pleasure point is near the surface and responds well to bumps, grinds and hard-pressed embraces. Men have a similar center, but it's designed to encourage penetration. The hooded tip. Clit on a stick.

The foreskin contains 85% of the sexually receptive nerve endings of the penis. The "ridged band," also known as the "preputial sphincter" is the most sensitive part of an intact male's body, containing 20,000 Meisner's corpuscle nerve endings. These are the nerve endings that sense light touch, as in the anus or lips...also found in highly concentrated patterns on the palms of our hands and soles of our feet. [To get a rough idea of the difference between cut and uncut on the sensitivity dimension] compare the sensation of gently gliding a finger over your palm versus the back of your hand.

The hygiene argument arose in more modern times and betrays a crazy idea that rational parents would reject if they actually thought about it.

Consider: Girls have much more to deal with and they take care of themselves just fine, but boys need to have their tip snipped because they can't be trusted to clean under the hood?

And instead of cutting the son to look like the father, this century dads will show the scar and tell the uncut son the story of how it was decided to save him from that abuse.

New century parents!
End the scourge of circumcision!
Keep knives away from your already perfect baby boy!

Stop the Madness!

Break with tradition
Trust evolution
Leave the hood!
He'll be wanting that.

Look. Parent. Evolve.

The only acceptable cannabis policy is freedom

Free Means Free

Pills, butts and booze. For nearly eighty years those have pretty much been our only legal options in this country, and indeed around the world. Americans have been lied to, frightened, bullied, marginalized, brutalized, locked up, and even gunned down; socially, economically, politically, culturally, and spiritually manipulated and coerced into giving up their right to choose anything outside of an industrial-age trio of mostly toxic and addictive manufactured products.

Since the primary objective of the drug choice enforcement war is to keep patients in the dark about cannabis (spoiler alert: It’s medicine) it should come as no surprise that Washington is still guarding the gates as the walls come down, or that this prohibition will end like the last one; by will of the states

Had enough? Have you finally had enough of elected, appointed and self-appointed leaders like Kevin Sabet (?!) telling you what you can and can’t use for medicine for fun for solace for courage reflection inspiration motivation connection for communion or to just chill out?

Wake up Americans! The founders of this (could be) great country made it very clear. We the People have the right to do whatever we want with our own bodies. No provisos. No quid pro quo. Our bodies, our lives, our choice. And we earn that perfect freedom by taking personal responsibility for our actions and associations.

Now is the time to use that thing in your hand to discover the convenient truth about a certain forbidden flower that must not be named...

CANNABIS!

Listen. Do yourself, your family, your friends, your community, this nation, and the planet a favor.

Open your eyes guys! In Colorado it’s looking like a miracle medicine that just happens to come with its own multi-billion dollar enterprise frontier of green jobs and opportunities.

Meanwhile, back in Prohibitionland…

Marijuana legalization is a bad idea. It sends the wrong message to children and besides Fox News says that stuff can snare you like a rabbit and make you crazy…and without more research do we really want to risk legalizing a drug with euphoric effects when—

FULL STOP, LOOK,  LEARN,  EVOLVE!

Just Google a name or two: Rick Simpson Shona Banda Donna Lambert Brave Mykayla Comstock tragically departed Cash Hyde Charlotte’s Web Run from the Cure… By all means put the kids on the project because of course they need to learn the truth too. And the truth is that cannabis is an all-natural medicine for adults, and for sick kids, pets, and livestock in the care of adults.

And don’t even bring up the smoking! That’s Mary Jane, she’s the party girl in the cannabis family. Sure, taking a hit can be fun and creative, motivating and inspirational, and while that may not be the best choice for all your healing needs, a toke or a vape can work as medicine. Why? That’s what cannabis is; medicine.

Want proof? Green dragon cannabis tincture and oil. Ancient medicine. Queen Victoria, loved it. Her private physician, JR Reynolds, swore by it. Here in America, Sir William Osler, founder of John Hopkins University—our father of modern medicine—he hailed cannabis tincture as the most satisfactory remedy for migraines.

These days patients treating themselves in the privacy of their own lives (imagine that) report that cannabis extracts work for insomnia, depression, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, restless legs, fibromyalgia, hangovers... And possibly the most remarkable news to emerge from the shadows is that green dragon can help patients battling ruinous and deadly addictions to alcohol, pills and powders.

It’s beautiful medicine. And get this. Green dragon is nothing more than (search word alert) decarboxilated (gently heated) cannabis flower trim soaked in pure grain alcohol, strained then (carefully because it’s flammable) simmered down to around three to five drops strong. Link to the forbidden ancient recipe

Prohibition-era tincture boil. RI circa 2010
Liquid weed. Exotic, potent, fiery emerald green drops in a stealthy little tinted vial. A Dionysian remedy from a time before the Great Prohibition. Safe, effective and not the least bit physically addictive. Patient tested and approved. Made for the revolution.

Available now, but only through the cannabis underground because our government forbids the use of grain alcohol for anything other than getting dangerously drunk. In cannabis country we don’t buy into that crap anymore. Prohibition-era laws are going away because they’re wrong. And we ALL have a right to choose cannabis because it’s a plant.

Christians! Genesis 1:29, right? Weed’s ours! God said! -cannabis 1:29

Mr. President, members of Congress, federal, state, and local prohibitionists, industrialists, drug war loyalists, evangelicals and other moralists, nannies, naysayers, hand-wringers, and pot-bashers throughout this free country. Here this! Cannabis prohibition is finished in America and so goes the world. The war is over. Your side lost. Stand down, come clean and let the healing begin.

As for the Marijuana Policy Project and other legalization organizations: Thanks but we don’t need donor-supported lawyers negotiating the terms of our personal freedom because there are no terms to freedom.

Free means free. And that goes double for hemp.

DEA CBD ruling might just end the war

They've finally done it. The drug choice enforcement division of our corporate-corrupted Federal government has committed a critical error in its last-century scheme to keep cannabis (and many other medicinal plants) away from consumers--especially patients.

Placing CBD extracts on the scary drugs list of forbidden choices (Schedule 1) exposes the mission, and it's not public health and safety. The proof is in the ruling. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the safest, most therapeutic medicines nature provides; patient-tested, not physically addictive and with little or no side effects. Not even a buzz (can't have everything).

Even harder evidence to swallow; US Patent 6,630,507 [Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants]. filed way back in 2003 by none other than Health and Human Services, the same agency that continues to insist that cannabis in any form is just bad, all bad--code for serious competition.

The abolition of Prohibition is already well underway globally and in states across America. Ironically, this latest desperate act of a faltering regime may serve to hasten the inevitable; freedom.

We the People of this earth have a right to do whatever we want with our own bodies. No provisos. No quid pro quos. Our bodies, our lives, our choices. Drug choice enforcers with their bullshit schedules and prisons enough for us all are finished in America; and so goes the world.

Cannabis. It's not dope, stupid. It's medicine. If you don't know; LOOK IT UP!

Cannabis for kids? Absolutely. There’s a word for parents who refuse to investigate cannabis as a medicinal option; irresponsible.

Schedule 1 is one of Washington’s grandest lies; the gate still standing as the walls come down. Forbidden plants? Sorry pal, that century ended awhile ago.

Making medicine in the privacy of your own life is a serious crime in America. We even have an agency for that. The Drug Enforcement Agency. Say that three times slow and see if you still feel free.

Cannabis for elders. It's time for your morning vape, Mrs. Robinson…
Cannabis for creatives; the big non-secret is that weed is effective and fun in any creative field.
Clean NOT Sober. Earth-grown psychoactives, starting with cannabis, must be included in the silver linings playbook for addictions and other mental illnesses.
Religious leaders who still support the ban on cannabis are following last-century orders. Their well-meaning but deeply uninformed notions should be challenged then ignored. Cannabis 1:29. Weed’s Ours. God said.

The ancients revered earth-given psychoactives. But no matter; they're plants and as humans we all have a right to explore their secrets even if that means taking risks with our own bodies. For a list of the premier psychoactives in the world, see Schedule 1.
Cannabis oil treatment before chemo. Then come what may. Since cannabis affects everyone differently the only guarantee is that it won't kill you to try it.

Cannabis is non-toxic but that doesn't mean it's harmless. Overdoses are hellish, and avoidable. Happily, cannabis doesn't kill careless explorers; it makes us smarter.

Laws that defy the letter and intent of our Founders are not laws; they're intrusions.

Perfect Freedom

Since the primary objective of the drug war is to keep the public in the dark about the true nature of cannabis (spoiler alert; it’s medicine) it should come as no surprise that the DEA is still guarding the gates as the walls come down, or that this prohibition era is ending like the last one; by will of the states.

The founders of this country were very clear. We the People have a right to do whatever we want with our own bodies. No provisos, no quid pro quos. Our bodies, our lives, our choices. And we earn that perfect freedom by taking personal responsibility for our actions in all aspects of our lives.

It will take a few more freed states to shame Washington into ending its longest war, but to be sure, drug choice enforcers with their bullshit schedules and prisons enough for us all are finished in America. Prohibition has no place in a free country.

Cut the shit Mr. President. End the War on Drugs NOW, sir

As our country's founding papers declare in no uncertain terms, Mr. President, We the People of these United States have the right to do what we feel is best for ourselves, as long as we harm no one else. Such liberties are not negotiable [Free Means Free].

The war on drugs is a brutal, cruel and economically devastating military operation supported by a nearly eighty-year propaganda campaign that would make Mad Men weep [Lights Camera Cannabis!]. In the mix; a diabolical scheme to hold back mainstream research on a green suite of psychoactive plants [Schedule 1] and a stunningly successful campaign to keep cannabis and hemp out of business [The Cannabis Trades].

In America our epidemic overuse of alcohol and pills is a direct result of our limited choices.

To be sure, societies have been celebrating safely (and not) with alcohol and other drugs since the dawn of civilization. Hathor, for example, was (is) the Egyptian goddess of love and many other things, including joy, music, dance, beauty, culture and drunkenness. While using alcohol to excess clearly isn't new, legal, social and religious restrictions on choices didn't begin in earnest until the rise of the Romans a mere two thousand years ago.

In ancient times people understood plant medicines and inebriates as gifts of nature. They also knew at a cultural level what plants to avoid. In the Americas they used psychoactive mushrooms, peyote and ayahuasca, particularly for religious and shamanic purposes. Scandinavians seem to have favored the curiously Santa-colored amanita muscaria mushrooms, which just as curiously can make shrooming reindeer dance, prance and leap.

Cannabis sativa was an early choice for medicine in China and in India, and arrived (along with hemp) in Egypt by way of ancient trade routes [Seshat's Secret] The ancient Egyptians, who knew how to party, also adored their fabled Nile blue lotus and the mandrake--both of which figure prominently in their erotic art and love poetry [see Sacred Sexuality in Ancient Egypt by Ruth Schumann-Antelme and Stephane Rossini].

In the 'modern' world the prescribed choice for addiction is typically sobriety, except of course for the pills taken for depression and related ailments. My mom, a delightful giving woman brimming with creative talent, struggled for decades to maintain her sanity in a tragic, heart-breaking last-century existence defined by restrictive drug choices. In the late 70s my attempt to switch her to cannabis failed because a well-born eastern Yankee such as herself could not--dared not-- step that far out of line [Baking with Mom].

In cannabis country we don't buy into that crap anymore. As adults in America we are free to make our own choices and explore our own remedies. As parents in America we have the right to make mature and rational decisions in the best interests of our children. And naturally we are free to make our own cannabis medicine, share those remedies with others, and tell the truth to our kids [Shona's Secret].

End this terrible war, Mr. President. If you don't your successor will surely have to.

Sleeping with the Dragon

Americans suffering from sleeplessness brought on by a range of ailments (aches/pains, fibromyalgia, MS, restless legs, racing mind, PTSD, stress, depression) are in for a happy awakening.

Green dragon cannabis tincture, a fiery ancient extract made with pure grain alcohol (>10 drops/dose) is arguably the finest medicine nature has to offer. Since there are no after effects, sleep-deprived patients awake feeling clear-headed and OMG! RESTED!

Unlike many modern sleep aids, cannabis is not toxic and not physically addictive. Overdosing on concentrated THC can be unpleasant to the extreme, but cannabis doesn’t kill the careless; it makes them smarter.
Cannabis truth is rising fast as patient pioneers treat themselves and share what they learn. Sooner than most people imagine, mainstream Americans will finally wake up and demand back the right to choose their own medicines—in private. And as America restores cannabis patient rights, so goes the world.

Free Means Free
NOT void where prohibited

Wednesday, July 15, 2015

Prohibition has no place in a free country, Mr. President. End it, sir.

Cannabis prohibition, like alcohol prohibition before it, is being dismantled state by state, by the will of the people. Americans who think that’s a bad thing either have a vested interest in the way things are, or they haven’t done the research. Because behind the smoked party drug image so brilliantly propagandized for nearly a century lays a most convenient truth, an amazing secret hidden for generations.
Cannabis is a non-toxic, not physically addictive ancient medicinal flower that is (when used properly, of course) totally safe, even for children and pets. As tincture and oil, cannabis is proving effective for some of the most common ailments of these frenzied times; alcohol and pill abuse, insomnia, stress, migraines, depression, fibromyalgia, MS, ADHD, PMS, PTSD, late-night barking…
Naysayers search US patent 6,630,507; Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants, filed back in 2003 by none other than Health and Human Services, the same agency that continues to insist that marijuana is bad, all bad. And these are the people We the People are taking orders from? Wake up Americans! Read the declaration the founding fathers risked their lives to compose. It says we have the right as free people to decide what’s best for our bodies, our families and our lives.
The inevitability of re-legalization has many fearing the worst; that reefer madness will rip through neighborhoods, claim the sanity of our children and spike healthcare costs. Hand-wringers need only look to capacity-crowd cannafests for proof of weed’s safety in numbers across a wide demographic.
Since their rise in the sixties marijuana freedom gatherings have always attracted families and people of all ages, all races, and all political and religious persuasions. They mass together—sometimes in the rain—to learn, share, and get stoned a lot, because that’s the point.  As a long-term population study, cannabis-only festivals provide clear evidence that the norm really is a positive vibe of peace, love and understanding.
The exciting news for Middle Americans struggling to make ends meet is that cannabis freedom comes with its own enterprise frontier—one that provides jobs and opportunities at every step in the delivery chain. Demand for secure, safe and legal indoor grow ops, for example, is creating a lucrative new specialty field for plumbers, electricians, carpenters, air control experts and security system technicians. As the frontier expands there’ll be good jobs for professionals in finance, accounting, administration, marketing, production, and education.
Washington, of course, denies such a frontier even exists, while at the same time using every agency in the fold to disrupt, discredit and hold back the cannabis trades; medical, recreational and hemp, that farm-country marvel with a bright future in plastics, building materials, food products, paper, textiles, energy and fine lubricants. Despite economic sanctions such as harsh tax rules and a banking embargo, the budding cannabis industry is doing well, and generating solid revenues in states that restore those liberties.
When the Epilepsy Foundation declared last year that access to cannabis should not be determined by one’s zip code they spoke for all patients and families caring for patients. The right to choose and responsibly use the full bounty of nature’s gifts is, in Christian terms, a God-given, human right (Genesis 1:29). Americans gave up that right in service to the industrial revolution, and very soon they’re going to wake up and want it back.

Prohibition has no place in a free country, Mr. President. End it, sir. If you don’t, your successor will surely have to.

Shona's Secret

Cannabis patient rights pioneer Shona Banda is fighting for her life. Again. The first time she survived a nearly fatal bout with Crohns by treating herself with THC oil she learned to make from Rick Simpson’s YT classic Run from the Cure.

Now Shona’s been dragged into drug war hell for secrets she was forced to keep as a citizen living under prohibition. Making cannabis concentrates—in the presence of a child, especially—for herself and fellow cannabis patients is a serious crime in Kansas and in many other states. She’s been branded a criminal, and worse, an unfit mom. She’s facing thirty years for defying grossly un-American laws. The ‘good’ news is her story might just be enough to end the war.

The big reveal in this saga is that Ms. Banda is alive only because of a most convenient truth; cannabis is a non-toxic, not physically addictive medicinal flower that is (when used properly, of course), totally safe, even for children and pets; an ancient remedy that can work for some of the most common ailments of these ‘progressive’ times; alcohol abuse, insomnia, stress, migraines, depression, fibromyalgia, MS, ADHD, PMS, PTSD, late-night barking…

Doubters search US patent 6,630,507; Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants, filed back in 2003 by none other than Health and Human Services, the same agency that continues to insist that cannabis is bad, just bad. And these are the people We The People are taking orders from? Wake up America!

In the waning years of prohibition, 20th-century industrialists have every right to be pissed. The cannabis trades are booming, despite every attempt by a hoard of Federal agencies to dismiss, disrupt and intimidate ganjapreneurs. Cannabis patients and fans alike are leaving the ‘pills butts and booze’ drug reservation in droves; choosing their favorite forbidden flower for medicine because it works, treating themselves in private because it’s nobody’s business but their own, and sharing the truth they discover with anyone who will listen.

Treating yourself in private—using doctors for diagnosis and emergency care and taking care of the rest with herbs, flowers, good food and practices—drives drug prohibitionists crazy--a third choice between greedy and frightened; it's just a flower, madam.

So now a lad with cannabis country smarts dares to stand up to drug warriors he knows are full of shit—and unwittingly unleashes on his family the very worst of America. The eleven-year-old is detained. Authorities are notified. His mom, Shona Banda, no less, arrested and charged.

Sorry Kansas. We’re Americans first. Our lives. Our bodies. Our right to explore, choose and responsibly use nature’s bounty of options. For Christians in the know it’s Genesis 1:29; Cannabis is ours; God said.

And boy oh boy, just wait until Middle Americans find out about all this! Washington will have some serious explaining to do. And soon after that, America’s longest and most indefensible war will be over.

Stay strong Shona; we’ll get you out of this.

Tunes to make our quiet revolution less so...

ORDER VIA CRAIGSLIST: http://boulder.craigslist.org/com/4965714207.html

The Dragon Returns
Stealthy, slow-starting and long-lasting, green dragon cannabis tincture is a Dionysian remedy from a time before the Great Prohibition. This concentrated THC in a dark dropper vial connects us to our pharmacological past—ancient potions, forgotten remedies, salves, lotions, ointments, syrups and miraculous elixirs. Until the 1920's, cannabis tincture was available at every neighborhood pharmacy.  Then came the industrial age where hemp and cannabis were banned and demonized because they were a competitive threat.

The Truth Squirts
After nearly eighty years, prohibition-era propaganda has ‘successfully’ turned the world against cannabis. Entire populations are now under the impression that marijuana is just pot, a smoked party weed some folks call medicine; probably no better than alcohol.
That’s why this green dragon is so important. Since a good dose only takes a few drops, this extract looks and acts like ‘modern’ medicines—except it won’t kill careless patients!

High-value Medicine from Trim
This arrangement is an advocacy program that puts vials of Green Dragon XX (gdxx) into the hands of growers who will introduce their friends, family and clients to this ancient medicine. Yield from one pound of bone-dry trim ranges from 8-12 fluid ounces of ‘eight drops strong’ gdxx (see pic for current market value). Vials come with information wraps; history, applications and safe use.

Barter Split
We generally process in one-pound batches but can work with as little as 4 ounces. Our lab covers all expenses; alcohol, processing and packaging. The lab/grower split is 50-50 for the first five pounds processed and 40-60 for the second five pounds. After ten pounds our regular clients receive 80% of the yield on all processing.

Toon: The Circus on the Way to a Place Called FREEDOM

This panel was inspired by the work of misguided religious leaders, oh-so last-century moralists and prohibitionists, greedy industrialists and lying politicians.

The best example of the CRAZY in the waning years of cannabis prohibition is that while the US Surgeon General recently admitted that cannabis is medicine, the flower still remains listed as a Schedule 1 substance.

Richer still is the fact that Washington uses every agency it has to disrupt and hold back the rise of the cannabis trades, and yet, since 2003, the US has held a patent on the medicinal effectiveness of cannabinoids! US Patent # 6630507 was filed by Health & Human Services, the same agency that is still saying non-toxic cannabis is so dangerous even research ought to be carefully managed.

On the advocacy side of the circus the legalization forces have focused on the casual smoked aspects of cannabis, which is exactly what prohibition propaganda has been 'pushing' for nearly 80 years. Prior to the big drive to demonize this natural healing flower, cannabis was well known as medicine in the form of tincture. Laudanum, an opium tincture, was in all drug stores as well, but unlike cannabis tincture, was extremely addictive and potentially fatal. With the invention of pills and injectables both medicines fell from popular use because the 'modern' stuff was so easy to use.

TRUE STORY FROM THE FRONT LINES
Late one afternoon, a young man celebrating his 21st drops by a grow house in Rhode Island with a fifth of rum.  An infamous trouble maker and aggressive drunk, he’s well underway with a loud promise to polish off the bottle by midnight.
He’s there to buy weed from one of several black-market growers who’ve gathered to sample the latest batch from the tincture guy. They supply him with trim and grain alcohol, and he brews up some potent cannabis extracts, minus his fee in vials. He listens and learns from his lab bench while they dose and talk cannabis .
The arrival of the loud dude interrupts a chat about using edibles and extracts for ADHD instead of ‘modern’ meds. The old medicine maker sets down his glasses and swivels away from his well-lit filling station holding up a tiny amber dram vial.
“For your birthday, my friend! Two hundred drops of liquid weed, made with pure alcohol. Green dragon double X; eight drops strong.”
He aims the vial at the bottle; “To party with the dragon, just dose that with this.”
The big guy loves the idea, and from then on, every shot gets drops. Ninety minutes later the rabble rouser is still there and smiling up from the couch.
“Wow…whoa…I had no idea…this shit is real medicine, huh?”

He drank a lot less that night, had just as much fun, and woke up feeling fine.
